Tree Bark Store

Coffee Wine Retail - The best of Irish made

Tree Bark Store:

Recently listed in the Irish Times Weekend Magazine “What’s Hot” list Tree Bark Store is not just a coffee shop! Indeed this is very true. 2020 has been a year of change for many people but for this little gem in the village, it has evolved to a store of many hidden gems in itself, whilst still at it’s core serving out delicious specialty coffee.

For those of you who still have not visited Tree Bark Store, then you simply must! It is filled to the brim with gorgeous art pieces, beautiful jewellery, candles, and gifts for just about everyone, but the best part of it all? They are all made by Irish artists and makers, often in a studio or workshop right here in their own garden.

Supporting local talent is the heart of this store – serving and selling coffee from Irish roasters such as Calendar Coffee (Barna), Soma Coffee Company (Cork), Stone Valley Coffee Roasters (Clonakilty), hosting pop up art events with local artist Tory Irvine, and selling locally made items from gorgeous soaps, candles, accessories such as hair bands, cotton face masks (coverings), cosmetic bags, greeting cards and homeware. Shopping local for all your gift needs cannot be easier. Humourous and beautifully made cards for all occasions and just about everything here is available to purchase online with shipping to the recipient as an option as well as collect in store.

Reuse, Recycle and Reduce:

Tree Bark Store also holds a range of eco-friendly products. Stainless steel Chilly’s Bottles, Food Flasks, Lunch Boxes and of course coffee cups are always adorning the shelves with their colourful displays. If you are looking for your essentials for back to college or the office then this is the stop for you. Bring some of this ethos home with compostable dish cloths, dish soap and coconut fibre brushes , bamboo toothbrush, solid shampoos and beeswax wraps.
Park up your bike or your car right outside and enjoy the best flat white going with a little treat from the local bakers, oh so good cookies and brownies from Andy Spelt Treats and Goyas Bakery, or some vegan, gluten free goods from Turtle and Hare Dining.
Gift Vouchers and all the items in their store are available on their newly launched website www.treebarkstore.com and keep an eye on their social media Instagram @treebark.store and Facebook Treebarkstore for news and additions of new artists.

If you fancy upping your knowledge on all things coffee or to perfect your home coffee brewing techniques, Jeff has teamed up with Tom from Pangaea Coffee Culture with short videos covering various brewing methods – the very popular French press , moka pot and for the warmer days, a delicious Cold Brew. Check out these guys show “The Coffee Coarse” on Instagram or YouTube, they actually make science easy! Then pick up a quality bag of coffee in store and try it for yourself.

All bags of coffee are sold as wholebean but just tell Jeff and his team what brewing equipment you are using and they will grind it to suit your needs.

Now open 7 days a week you can also shop online at any time and collect in store. For any queries you can email them on hello@treebarkstore.com or call them on 089-4725993.
